Beth Burden, receiver of an Appalachian Arts and Entertainment Award for "Best Indie Folk Artist" 2021 has been performing and writing songs for 20 years. Burden, a Kentucky native wraps her soaring vocals around her own lyrics, and takes them over the top. No gimmicks, no frills, just music. Burden was the lead singer of the acoustic duo Mother Jane for 14 years. Mother Jane released 5 albums and received success when they were played by 150 + non-commercial radio stations. MJ opened up for Mary Chapin Carpenter in 2010. Enjoy what's here, and get ready for what's next. Burden released her first Solo CD entitled "Worthy" including 10 original songs written by her.
